a smallish thunderstorm just blew through zurich city. Nice bit of rain. The grounds needed it. Now it’s cool and fresh. Have all windows open. enjoying the cross breeze.

Thunder and lightning, a little wind and much more rain than predicted. Lasted 1/2 hour and then stopped. The birds love it!
Earlier they were saying 10 mm, now 1 mm. Maybe. It’s cooled down a lot, but still no rain.
Nothing here yet. Clouding over some, but no sign of any rain.
Mountains socked in, rain off and on. The blackbirds are going crazy. and the forecast is for rain off and on until 4 a.m. Too bad we won’t see the full blue moon.
Did finally get some rain last night. Heard it on the bathroom roof window as I was getting ready to go to bed. Light, but steady.

We have been warned that Schafskälte starts today/tomorrow, with a high of 14 tomorrow and pelting rain today. This cold spell happens every year, which is why the farmers do not shear sheep until late June.

That’s probably why the ones at the back of us have been so vocal, they’re probably freezing without their fleece to keep them warm.

That’s horrible. Bad farmer ! Any decent self respecting farmer would ensure a good life for the flock before sending them off to the final destination - the table.
Heatwave on the way for some of us.
But also suggestions that El Nino may bring a wetter summer than normal to Switzerland.
Sorry to say it but we need more rain (and snow at elevation).
