The kite won’t work in tunnels. But why do you need alternative charging solutions on Swiss autoroutes?
As of recent data, Switzerland’s autoroutes feature charging infrastructure at 59 service stations and 100 rest stops. These locations are equipped with fast-charging stations to support long-distance travel, with plans ensuring that drivers can find a service station every 60 km and a rest stop every 40 km along the motorways.
It is much more difficult to find chargers in towns and cities.

You joke, but on of of the rallies I participate in, someone did the first Saharan-crossing in an EV. They had a diesel van driving with them, with a diesel generator in the back.
When they were low on juice, the two vehicles would stop and recharge.
Still impressive that they did it, EVs are not light - so on sand they tend to sink…

The Audi RS Q e-tron which has won the Paris-Dakar is basically an electric car with an electric motor powering the front axle and another powering the rear (taken from a Formula E).
But in Audi’s case, an onboard petrol engine powers a generator to create the electricity to power the electric motors.
Still essentially an EV rather than a hybrid.
Do Tesla cars have a motor cooling system with fluid?
I don’t believe that to be the case. But the battery is liquid-cooled.
The cooling system on Teslas is really sophisticated - Google octovalve.
Gee, the battery cooling system for my Skoda iv involves air flowing through the grill and passing both sides.
Canada has barred electric vehicle (EV) giant Tesla from all of its rebate programs and banned the Texas-based automotive company from future electric vehicle rebate programs over President Trump’s tariff back-and-forth with Ottawa.
Canada’s transport minister, Chrystia Freeland, said in a Tuesday statement to Reuters that Tesla will not be eligible for the rebate program as long as the “illegitimate and illegal U.S. tariffs are imposed against Canada.”

Musk has got it wrong. Driverless cybertrucks - forget it . The future is electric golf carts. The perfect city run about and if the the max speed is controlled you should be able to keep your licence until you are 105 - boomer heaven.
