Suspension, tires, rims, brakepads. 3rd-party replacements for spoilers and other body-work are available.
Of course, you can’t “tune” them like an ICE car by re-programming the ECU for more power. But they already have more power than most can handle - and in the case of the Model 3, the limit is the battery anyway: the motors could actually go higher.
And of course, there’s the track package for the Model S Plaid.
You can pay CHF2,000 for “acceleration boost” and get an instant over the air power upgrade.
But I would recommend driving without to see if you really need and can use the extra power. Your passengers will let you know soon enough…
Once went to my garage to see about a dead spot during acceleration. After going out for a test drive, my mechanic decided to give the car a rally tuning. All for no charge. Now that was a bargain!
None at all - unless it’s used continuously at every opportunity. The acceleration is so absurd that women scream, men weep and policemen hand in their badges.
The standard acceleration is so strong that I have not bought it for my current Model Y.
The Robotaxi service started i Ausrin on the 22nd
Although this is currently limited to friends and fans there are videos circulating of disturbing incidents which may be the cause of Tesla shares falling 9% this week.
It is too soon to draw any conclusions but it is probably safe to say this service is not a great success yet.
awww, thank you. It was pretty interesting actually. But I’m not convinced.
Am I allowed to be drunk riding that taxi? I mean after all they can not charge me for accidents, right?
" Robotaxi stops in middle of street for about a minute" did Tesla learn that in Switzerland? People do that here often, stretching their necks trying to find an address I assume.
I definitely think these robo-taxis should be clearly marked as such, so real people understand why these things stand in crossings and/or can expect those vehicles to do strange things.
