The Noble Dubliner, now Paddy Reilly's - onto a review

I was in there sunday for my first Paddy's roast. I skipped the soup (actually handed it over to somebody hungrier) but can confirm the roast is excellent. Portion sizes are only about the same as things like the shepards pie, so it won't fill you up, but the desert following (apple thingy with custard) was so good I had two.

Now I just need it to be extended into the evening (currently ends at 3pm), so I can go there after playing touch rugby on sunday afternoon....!

Awesome

I am very interested in the Sunday roast, as it would round the weekend off nicely. The 3pm shutoff is a shame. I had a really bad beef pie in there a few weeks ago, so I hope the meat for the roast is better.

To be fair to the pub, I should probably expand on this statement a little. I'm sure the amount is fine for most people, and there are also starters and deserts on offer. I'm just a big fatty

Yep Dave, the meat was done well.

had a Sunday roast in Paddy's today, was very nice and tasty, my only complaint was they only offered a main course and the only meat option was chicken and this was 28.50 just for the main which we thought was a bit steep

Has anyone else heard a rumour that Paddy Reilly's in Zurich is going to be closed this St Patrick's day because Guinness have come up with this World's Happiest day promotion and the staff have objected because they're not members of an actors' guild / union and don't have adequate health insurance if their faces get permanent muscle damage from smiling?

Can't really blame them; have you seen the faces of their customers recently? It's like Sodom and Gomorrah in there on a Saturday night.

Loads of friendly chicks at Les Halles, if anyone's interested in having a conversation.
