Make sure you aleady have the hook-up connection in the apartment already, or the cost of a plumber installing one could cost you the same as a Mercedes.
I bought my W&D at Mediamarkt at the train station and they delivered and installed it for me for just a small upcharge which was very convenient. I don't know that I would have gotten that had I bought it in F or D.
Also the F plugs have larger prongs and may not fit in your CH outlets as I learned with the microwave I am still offering for sale at a discounted price.
Well the washing machine that came with our flat (old VZug, we had the movers take it into the basement storage) was hard-wired into the wall on 3-phase AC and the dryer on 2-phase AC. The local electrician charged CHF 150 to cut the plugs off, hardwire our washer and dryer to one AC phase each, and to properly isolate the remaining dangling bits of wire. The washer-dryer combination we have cost EUR 3'000 (incl. VAT) in DE and was on special at Dipl.Ing. Fust for CHF 6'000. Both the electrician and we were happy.
Samsung: not even close. 400 revs less, a lot less energy efficient, louder.
LG: still 200 revs les, louder, not as energy efficient. But better then the Samsung
Less revs cost you money if you use a tumble drier as more water is spun out of the clothes.
The Miele honeycomb drum is fantastic in the handwash and silk programs. Many other machines will not be kind to your delicates (although both the Samsung and the LG are streets ahead of US or Aussie-style toploaders with agitators that will rip everything to shreds).
in Terms of reliability: Samsung < LG < Bosch, Hoover < Miele
