What music are you listening to now?

I miss Aussies "Triple J" alternative music, is there a channel that plays Swiss only or mostly German music?

Necroposting on the music thread.

Today, it seems to be a stressful day. Luckily, the Piano Day 2025 by Arte Concert was recently uploaded to youtube:

A bit disconcerting to see the woman with the hair cover, but the music fixes any stupid ideas.

I got into listening to Squeeze again recently, love the fact their songs are little stories. Pulling Mussels From a Shell makes me think about being a teenager on holiday

Woke up at 6h00, sent an offer to a customer earlier today, full decompression now…

I used to post on this thread back in the day before it dawned on me how tedious my choices must be for someone who isn’t exactly like me. So I stopped.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but music shared here is not more or less tedious than any of the opinions we share on other threads. For example, 9 min long pop songs…

Life happened and there’s a deadline for tomorrow at 9h00. Couple beers and get the job done

I first heard this joyful Mass one Christmas in the early '80s, emanating from my homesick Argentinian neighbour’s window. I was instantly struck by its sheer exuberance, and I hunted down the right recording (because there are lots of mediocre ones). It takes 30 seconds before the fun starts…it will always mean Christmas to me.

I’m a bit into listening to that kinda weird background relaxation music you get on CDs because I’m on a course for Meditation and CBT at the moment.
As it’s near Christmas I’ll be getting out Handel’s Messiah (love it when I’m decorating the tree) and I’ll also be listening to some medieval Christmas music.
I love classical Spanish guitar and have that with Christmas Dinner :slightly_smiling_face:

Dodsdans (Dance of the dead) by Galaverna from Verona (IT).

It’s almost like the space-continuum had a shortcut from the 1960s UK folksy goth to 2010s Prosecco Italy, errr…Veneto IT.
