That's what Southerners drink. It's as bad as their beer. No backbone. Taylor's Yorkshire Tea is much better. If that's out of stock then Tetley's will do. Britshop usually has both. Personally I like Nambarrie from N. Ireland - good and strong - but we have to get that sent in the post.
Apparently Cornwall has a climate similar to Darjeeling. I saw a programme about it recently. It's good enough to export to China and Japan. It's supposed to be quite refined and subtle.
Worst cup of tea I was served here in Switzerland was a Yellow Label tea bag placed on a saucer which covered a glass cup with "hot" water, accompanied by one of those nasty little capsules of coffee creamer.
Yellow Label tea seems to be the floor sweepings from every other tea manufacturer.
The bigger Q is what about English de-caf Tea (not for me) as I've been told the stuff you get here is 'tasteless'. This is one of the few things we DO import still.
I suppose it's down to personal preference but I found the tetley tea bags from Migros like gnats p*ss and a load of old tut whereas the Twinings 'english breakfast' from co-op made a rel. decent cuppa but only when emergency measures are required, ie when I'm fresh out of Yorkshire tea (which I usually get from Britshop)
About an hour from zurich, but some people have posted on here places in Zurich where you can buy PG.TIPS, but if you ever feel like a trip to St.Gallen i would be happy to show you where the shop is
