BUT, do think of this: I am flying with a capacity of only 15kg... yes, of course I am doing the cheap Ireland flight thingy, so don't make those orders too great. Oh yeah and another thing, I quite often take the tea bags out of the boxes and put them in zippy bags, for maximisation of space.....Hope that will be ok, if you truly want some decent tea. Let me know your poison and I shall see what I can do....
Right, well Lyons tea - that suggestion MUST have come from an Irish person. Just so you know, I will be going to Ireland on October 9, back in the Zurich (Pfäffikon SZ) direction on 22nd. So, if you get me your orders, please let me know and I will see what I can get. I haven't met many of you yet, but I do intend to get to one of those pool evenings etc .... very soon.
Fixed that for you dearie, mwah mwah, tootles
You're sick you are. SICK!!!
Have you had the privilige of trying the Yorkshire tea yet?
I'm an English tea lover but can't find any such tea bags in Switzerland.
By the way: Tetley's confirmed that the bags sold at Migros don't contain the same quality as back in the UK. So where to find them here for a reasonable price? Or would anybody of you nice people bring a few bags next time you hop over?
The London Store in Zug, The Britshop online, Jelmoli, GLobus & Franky's Cheese in Zug all have proper tea.
Aggarwal (several locations around CH) sell English strength PG tips, and they're not too pricey.
The Geant store in Saint Louis (nr Basel) sells Tetley English Breakfast, plus all the posh variants
Hi. This is Franky from Franky's cheese & more. I have PG Tips and Ty-phoo on offer.
Cheers
Lots of Sri Lankan shops sell good tea
Question to all the PG Tips lovers, how inflated is the price of PG Tips here?
and oh, does it come with the monkey?
The price is very inflated. I usually buy mine from an Indian store in Zug, IIRC a bag of 300 costs around CHF23. No Monkey included.
The Indian shop by Manesse Platz (Zurich) has big boxes of PG tips. Don't remember the price/quantity.
Thanks Lou, I'll stick to getting my guests to bring them as payment for staying over
can anyone tell me where i can get PG tips or tetly's teabags if at all in Switzerland.
ty
Most of the Indian and Sri Lanken shops sell PG Tips- check around Langstrasse in Zurich - just at the crossroads of Stauffacherstr and Langstrasse is an Indian supermarket where I used to get mine.
I've seen Tetly's at my local Migros, yours may have them as well.
I've not happened to notice PG Tips though, sorry.
I buy Lipton as I make Iced Tea more often than hot and Lipton is great for that... Coop carries Lipton products.
been drinking liptons and some how it just dont taste the same, ill will have to have a look in migros ty
I always get some nice Yorkshire tea from one of the expat shops.
