Swiss Weather!

The thing is you can live with damaged blinds for a bit, it’s more annoying to have to live with broken windows.

So much for getting any rain. Sun’s shining and not a cloud in the sky.

From the local newspaper (Google-translated): “The intensity of the storms in the canton of Zurich and central Switzerland surprised even the meteorologists.” :grinning:

I got warnings about thunderstorm level 3 and then in a few minutes level 4 from the MeteoSwiss App during the storm already.

Grumbling and rumbling a bit, :crossed_fingers: it means we get some rain with it as well.

Darn, got a splattering, but that was it. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll get more.

Geneva had a huge storm a couple of hours ago so we probably got most of the rain you were expecting.
Sorry.

Huge storm north of Zürich now, just continuous thunder and lightning.

Had some rain overnight, but sun is shining again now. So much for the forecast being accurate.

Rain! Blessed rain! Watered my plants around 12.15pm because it hadn’t done more than think about it and now it’s finally raining steadily.

Autumn is coming from CH on Monday here…rain and very cool nights.

Yeah, our forecast is for pretty cool over the next week or so.

Data confirms that this summer has been unusually and unpleasantly humid.

Friday forecast 12C time to hang up my sandals and shorts

Already have!

Didn’t need data to notice that. At times I felt I’ll soon be breathing water. It was very unusual.

Depends where you live or how far you’re willing to travel.
Here is quite an informative site (sorry German but there is always deepl)

Just be careful where you tread.

Not only is it only in German it only lists the ones in German speaking Switzerland.

Yeah, well, SoSwiss did not mention where they live and I could have just said “go google” but I though I’d do them a favour without becoming the “gesamtschweizerische Informationsbüro” (Swisswide information office).

You keep bitching at me about not giving explicit information about the French part but it’s not that I remember ever having received any information from you about the German part.

A single click on “Regionen” (and that is not such a difficult word to intuitively figure out) would have lead you here

Ah well, I hope SoSwiss will be pleased about the info, that’s all I aimed at.
