No it isn’t! Where the heck do you live? 
Despite very good snow cover after last winter, Swiss glaciers lost another 2.4% of volume this year. Apparently it was sunnier, warmer and drier than reading this thread here suggest.

Heavy föhn here–windy and warm with blazing sun–shorts weather. All collapses in rain tomorrow afternoon. Looks like we are on our usual see-saw before suddenly the entire weather pattern collapses into cold and rain.
Golden Autumn. Is that some sort of mythical expression?
More like biological…due to changes in the length of daylight and changes in temperature, the leaves of the trees turn to colours and nuances from yellow to orange and red, hence the expression “golden autumn”. 
It’s a phenomenon this year because it has been so wet. I was also missing all the golds, reds and rusts.

Come to the mountains…plenty of colour just out my window, and the rowan and maples in town are spectacular. Mountainsides starting to turn gold.

The past days have been weird here, as if a single cloud came along, stopped above a group of houses, opened the tap, emptied out over us, giving a biblic impression. Then moved on.

Must be a week now. Seems we’re in a fog-hole.
What I noticed tonight: All of a sudden all clouds were gone, I saw the moon, stars and … airplanes. If those clouds are back tomorrow morning I might take it personal - or should I see it as a special service as I’m more a night owl?
I do tend to take chose the more positive reasonings. Still, it’s very strange.
Tomorrow and Saturday will be sunny. I’m planning a longer bike ride for Saturday

Tomorrow will mark 39 days of sunshine, except for the 4 days there’s been a bit of rain–three in October, 1 so far in November. Yikes! Minus 4 this a.m.
